This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee the preparation and review of U.S. international tax calculations, encompassing NCTI, foreign tax credits, GILTI, Subpart F, IRC Section 163(j), BEAT, FDII, along with related provision and forecasting activities.
• Take ownership of the annual U.S. international tax compliance process and necessary tax filings.
• Act as the primary point of contact with external tax advisors and compliance providers.
• Assist in the quarterly and annual evaluations of U.S. international tax and global minimum tax provisions in collaboration with external auditors.
• Lead tax planning initiatives and assess strategies that align with business and financial goals.
• Develop financial models for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, divestitures, financing arrangements, and strategic transactions.
• Collaborate with Treasury on intercompany financing structures and global cash management.
• Conduct technical tax research and analyze both U.S. and international tax issues.
• Keep abreast of legislative developments and emerging tax trends.
• Direct the Company's global Pillar Two strategy, including forecasting, modeling, compliance, and implementation.
• Oversee Pillar Two compliance responsibilities and jurisdictional reporting requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Controllership, regional tax teams, and external advisors.
• Manage relationships with external consulting firms.
• Provide guidance and oversight to external tax advisors.
• Mentor and assist Regional Tax Leads and wider tax team members.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Bachelor's or MS degree in accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field is preferred.
• CPA, JD, or LLM is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting tax or a combination of public accounting and U.S. multinational corporate tax department experience.
• Proficient in interpreting, modeling, and applying U.S. international and foreign income tax laws and regulations.
• Experienced with U.S. international tax Subpart F, including NCTI/GILTI, foreign tax credits, BEAT, and FDDEI.
• Familiar with Pillar Two global minimum tax rules, including GloBE, traditional safe-harbors, side-by-side model, and relevant compliance requirements.
• Skilled in designing, modeling, and implementing international tax planning initiatives and projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Co-Pilot, and PowerPoint.
