M&A Tax Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Engage with complex legal issues and project management in corporate transactions.

• Develop expertise in corporate taxation and gain an understanding of the commercial, financial, and legal aspects of corporate transactions.

• Lead projects and teams increasingly independently, including across national borders.

• Collaborate with tax lawyers in M&A and specialists from other Deloitte areas.

• Work alongside the financial transaction department and colleagues in the Nordic region and globally.

• Advise clients who are buying, selling, restructuring, refinancing, or going public with companies.

• Handle structuring, due diligence, tax-related modeling, and advising on incentive structures.

• Provide ongoing corporate tax advice to recurring clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong and genuine interest in M&A and tax issues.

• 1–3 years of professional experience in corporate taxation, preferably with a focus on M&A-related tax advisory.

• A commercial interest with a focus on customer needs.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Swedish.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Ability and willingness to adapt work methodology and routines with the support of AI.
