This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a team of fractional early-talent recruiters and HR coordinators.
• Establish weekly objectives, manage workloads in accordance with cohort deadlines, mentor the team, and enhance headcount and capabilities as cohorts expand.
• Manage the screening and selection process from application assessment to offer using the program's rubric and calibration methods.
• Take charge of the employer-of-record lifecycle, which includes handling offers, e-signatures, background checks, I-9 and work authorization, payroll setup, benefits enrollment, and onboarding.
• Implement automation or AI assistance for tasks such as resume screening, interview scheduling, candidate communications, offer and onboarding document generation, multi-state compliance tracking, and cohort reporting.
• Collaborate on employee relations and performance issues with program managers, focusing on documentation, process consistency, and employment decisions.
• Raise relevant issues to the Head of People as needed.
• Develop repeatable screening workflows, HR SLAs, multi-state compliance processes, and partner transitions.
• Ensure processes are standardized or adaptable as the program evolves.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting and HR or people operations, with full ownership of both areas.
• Proven experience in managing teams and capacity, including contractors, shared services, or fractional support.
• Background in high-volume or early-talent recruitment.
• Demonstrated experience in HR operations, encompassing payroll, benefits, compliance, and onboarding.
• Experience with employer-of-record, PEO, or multi-state employment is highly desirable.
• Current application of AI in work processes, showcasing automation or process redesign.
• Proficiency in ATS and HRIS configuration, workflow automation, and prompting.
• Experience in addressing employee relations and performance discussions.
• Ability to thrive in a developing program and independently establish structure.

• Strong communication skills to work across partner organizations with varying systems and cultures.
