Senior Manager, Supply Chain Digitalization, Benchmarking and Pilots

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee benchmarking activities involving three TWG member organizations, evaluating their data systems against established minimum viable data standards.

• Compile benchmarking outcomes into a decision-ready evidence base for the data standards pilot.

• Assist in the design and initiation of governance, data standards, and interoperability pilots.

• Record each pilot, documenting lessons learned for adaptive management purposes.

• Prepare pilot completion reports in a format approved by DG ECHO.

• Aid in identifying pilot opportunities under Result 3.

• Convert Result 4 mapping findings into design inputs for Results 1–3 pilots.

• Engage in TWG meetings and relevant subgroup sessions.

• Provide consistent progress updates to TWG co-leads.

• Create materials for co-leads meetings and, when applicable, for the HLGSC Coordination Board.

• Collaborate closely with data.org and report to the Deputy Director for Business Development and Program Delivery within IRC's Global Supply Chain team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required in Supply Chain, Project Management, Data Science, International Development, or a related field.

• 3-6 years of experience in humanitarian supply chain, program monitoring and evaluation, or data systems work is required.

• Direct involvement in pilot design or testing of new operational mechanisms.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Familiarity with data standards, benchmarking frameworks, or data governance concepts.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Ability to translate research and technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for a non-technical audience.

• Capability to work across various organizations and stakeholder groups.

• Fluency in English is required.

• Previous experience with data standards frameworks such as GS1 or UNSPSC is desirable.

• Experience with multi-stakeholder coalitions, working groups, or coordination bodies is desirable.
