Senior Manager, Strategic Product Adoption

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Drive strategic growth in the usage of multiple products and programs among Common App members, including FYA, Transfer, Direct Admissions, and Data Analytics and Benchmarking tools.

• Act as a primary spokesperson and subject matter expert for programs and services during stakeholder webinars, presentations, and conferences.

• Develop strategies and implement initiatives to enhance growth in multi-product and program utilization.

• Collaborate closely with the Member Service team and the Director of Member Services.

• Coordinate with product strategy and marketing to ensure offerings align with the needs, interests, and priorities of members.

• Advocate for the understanding and utilization of Common App products and services among enrollment consulting firms that serve Common App members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in the United States.

• Willingness to travel for the twice-annual Common App Retreat.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Education, Communications, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5–8 years of successful, progressive experience in enrollment or admissions, communications, account management, or customer service roles.

• 2–4 years of experience managing people.

• Familiarity with the higher education admissions cycle and the needs of member institutions.

• Experience utilizing Common App products, systems, tools, and resources.

• Knowledge of best practices in account management and customer service.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and listening abilities, including the capacity to present and engage with diverse audiences.

• Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously.

• Capability to apply flexible thinking, creative problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and sound judgment.

• Ability to lead teams through organizational changes and transformations.

• Skill in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

• Ability to foster innovation and continuous improvement.

• Mastery of essential technical skills.

• Proficiency in analyzing problems, identifying patterns, and proposing innovative solutions.

• Capacity to meet or exceed established service goals and performance metrics.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Acuity Scheduling, and Google Suite.

• Ability to coach or mentor others to enhance team capacity.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a matrix-style organizational structure.
