This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and oversee AI2IO's product adoption and training discipline across various applications and features.
• Develop the inaugural formal program for product adoption and training, encompassing seminars, live training sessions, videos, documentation, onboarding, office hours, role-specific learning, and release communications.
• Create and manage a cross-product adoption roadmap that aligns with releases, business priorities, user requirements, Customer Success goals, and engineering capacity.
• Define suitable adoption strategies, which may include self-service content, recorded training, instructor-led sessions, large events, reinforcement activities, and role-based learning paths.
• Identify gaps in adoption and initiate programs to enhance readiness, understanding, sustained usage, and user experience.
• Take ownership of enablement contributions to UAT and release readiness, including establishing standards for workflow clarity, terminology, learnability, documentation accuracy, training readiness, onboarding, and representative user scenarios.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Customer Success, engineering teams, and representative users on enablement-focused UAT.
• Differentiate usability, learnability, documentation, and adoption findings from functional defects; document evidence and route issues appropriately.
• Advise on whether to proceed, proceed with documented enablement gaps, or defer user-facing rollout activities.
• Transform UAT observations into revised documentation, seminars, videos, onboarding materials, and product feedback recommendations.
• Establish quality benchmarks for training, demonstrations, videos, user guides, FAQs, troubleshooting content, quick references, and knowledge-base experiences.
• Personally conduct high-impact training sessions for small teams and audiences of 100 or more through town halls, webinars, and virtual formats.
• Quickly acquire knowledge of unfamiliar applications, Microsoft 365 capabilities, AEC workflows, and new features.
• Document organization-specific nuances for SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft 365 Groups, Revit, and internal applications.
• Develop or review flagship training videos and materials to ensure instructional, accessibility, presentation, and production quality.
• Act as the primary partner for adoption and training across Customer Success, Product, engineering, support, affiliates, and leadership.
• Maintain oversight of releases, audience impacts, enablement dependencies, content coverage, and adoption risks.
• Represent the user-learning perspective in discussions regarding product design and releases.
• Coordinate priorities among concurrent product workstreams and provide leadership with options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
• Mentor Product Adoption & Training Specialists and contributors without formal authority over people management.
• Define measures for adoption and enablement using attendance, engagement, completion rates, content utilization, search behaviors, freshness, coverage, support themes, UAT findings, stakeholder feedback, and observed product usage.
• Establish review cycles to assess program health, portfolio readiness, content lifecycle, user feedback, and improvement priorities.
• Utilize AI-assisted workflows for research, drafting, editing, restructuring, and quality checks while ensuring source validation, confidentiality, accessibility, technical accuracy, and human review.
• Scale adoption across training systems, learning platforms, event formats, documentation methods, measurement practices, and product enablement methodologies.
• Maintain quality, findability, accessibility, consistency, and lifecycle governance within the enablement library.
• Create role-specific learning paths and reusable curricula.
• Lead significant multi-product or ecosystem-wide launch and adoption programs from readiness planning through outcome evaluation.
• Provide guidance to engineering, product, Customer Success, and leadership regarding adoption strategy, readiness, rollout sequencing, audience risk, and product implications.
• Contribute to staffing, capability planning, tooling selection, investment priorities, and the future roadmap for product adoption and training.
• Identify and implement strategies that enhance learning scalability, release readiness, content production, audience engagement, adoption visibility, and self-service.
• Assess build versus buy options for learning platforms, knowledge systems, video tools, event capabilities, analytics, and AI-assisted content workflows.
• Develop succession and delegation models, aiming to expand impact toward future director-level scope.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Proven experience in building or significantly transforming a training, product adoption, customer education, or enterprise enablement program.
• Experience in creating and governing seminars, instructor-led training, role-based learning, user documentation, troubleshooting guidance, and short-form training videos.
• Experience in delivering live training to small teams and groups of 100 or more, including adapting to unforeseen audience needs.
• Strong troubleshooting and research skills; ability to quickly learn unfamiliar products and find reliable information.
• Experience in defining or leading user acceptance testing and release-readiness activities from a user, usability, documentation, training, or adoption perspective.
• Experience collaborating with Customer Success, Product Management/Product Owners, software engineering, support teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to establish standards, prioritize a portfolio, delegate tasks appropriately, mentor contributors, and create sustainable operating practices without formal authority over people management.
• Excellent written, presentation, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
• Working knowledge of information architecture, accessibility, content lifecycle management, knowledge-base practices, adoption measurement, and evaluation of learning programs.
• Experience in training users on Microsoft products such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft 365 Groups, or similar collaboration tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams town halls, webinars, or other large virtual event platforms.
• Experience producing recorded training content and a portfolio or work sample that demonstrates instructional approach and presentation quality.
• Background in AEC, MEP, engineering, construction, Revit, BIM, or design technology.
• Experience in selecting or managing learning management, knowledge-base, video, analytics, or digital-adoption platforms.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot or Claude, ensuring disciplined source validation and human review.
• 8+ years of professional experience in software training, product adoption, instructional design, technical writing, customer education, enablement, or a related field, with significant program ownership.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• Travel/relocation requirements up to 5%, potentially involving any or all 50 US states.
