This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead and develop the sales engineering and solutions architecture team.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain sales engineers and solutions architects.
• Establish the pre-sales operating framework and create reusable discovery, architecture, TCO, benchmark, POV, demo, and RFP processes.
• Set and uphold technical quality benchmarks and conduct enablement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Account Executives as the technical lead on strategic and enterprise opportunities from initial discovery to technical closure.
• Execute MEDDPICC or a similar qualification process and formulate technical win strategies.
• Design solutions across compute, networking, storage, and orchestration domains.
• Generate sizing, capacity plans, and TCO analyses against hyperscalers and in-house alternatives.
• Create and implement proofs of concept and value, including benchmarks and success criteria.
• Communicate product and capacity needs to product, platform, and supply/capacity planning teams.
• Collaborate with NVIDIA field and partner ecosystems on reference architectures and joint initiatives.
• Influence the product roadmap and packaging based on field insights.
• Travel significantly to engage with customers, data centers, and NVIDIA/partner events.
• Hands-on experience in running or establishing distributed training and/or production inference ML workloads.
• Practical knowledge of data pipelines, distributed training, fine-tuning, and serving.
• Understanding of interconnects, memory bandwidth, I/O, and scheduling bottlenecks.
• Proficient in PyTorch and related tools, including NCCL, CUDA concepts, containers, and schedulers.
• In-depth knowledge of NVIDIA compute platforms, including Hopper and Blackwell generations, as well as DGX, HGX, and MGX systems.
• Familiarity with NVLink/NVSwitch, InfiniBand, Spectrum-X Ethernet, RDMA/RoCE, and DPUs.
• Knowledge of NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NIM, NeMo, Triton/TensorRT-LLM, Base Command, Run:ai, GPU orchestration, and NGC.
• Understanding of the NVIDIA Cloud Partner strategy and co-selling initiatives.
• Proven track record in supporting complex B2B sales cycles lasting between 6–18+ months with significant ACV/TCV.
• Experience with multi-stakeholder enterprise sales involving technical, procurement, finance, security, and executive participants.
• Ability to construct and defend TCO/ROI models while translating benchmarks into commercial value.
• Experience in hiring, developing, and leading a sales engineering or solutions architecture team, or demonstrating readiness to do so.
• Player-coach mentality and credibility in complex technical transactions.
• Strongly preferred: experience in selling GPU cloud, HPC, or specialized infrastructure.
• Strongly preferred: knowledge of Kubernetes, GPU operators/device plugins, Slurm, multi-cluster management, and virtualized GPU/KubeVirt patterns.
• Strongly preferred: understanding of storage-for-AI, data-center economics, and experience with sovereign, regulated, or government AI buyers.
