Senior Manager – Retail Business Consultant, Supply Chain Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage offshore teams focused on supply chain analytics and data migration projects.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.

• Collaborate with Director/VP-level client stakeholders to grasp business context and outline approaches for analytics solutions.

• Decompose intricate problems into organized tasks spanning business analysis, data science, and engineering.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to business analysts and data professionals.

• Design and architect scalable frameworks and solutions for data analytics.

• Utilize Machine Learning, AI, Optimization, and Operations Research methodologies.

• Create and sustain predictive and prescriptive models within enterprise production settings.

• Construct and implement tools for simulation, optimization, and scenario planning.

• Extract, transform, and organize extensive datasets using SQL and related technologies.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration to promote data-driven solutions.

• Uphold standards for data quality, validation, and governance.

• Convert complex analytical results into actionable insights for the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–14 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5+ years in business/data analytics.

• Required experience in the Retail or CPG sector.

• Strong background in Ecommerce Merchandising Strategy and Supply Chain.

• Familiarity with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Shipping, and Inventory Management.

• Capability to effectively engage and influence executive and VP-level stakeholders.

• Proven project and team leadership abilities.

• Experience managing end-to-end delivery across global, cross-functional teams.

• Solid foundation in statistical methods and machine learning techniques.

• Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets to generate actionable insights.

• Ability to translate ambiguous business issues into clear, data-driven analytical frameworks.

• Strong practical expertise in Python and SQL.

• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI.
