Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Manage both domestic and international shipments in collaboration with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and various logistics providers.

• Monitor shipments from the moment of dispatch to final delivery, proactively identifying and reporting any delays, exceptions, or missed delivery milestones.

• Ensure that suppliers, warehouses, drivers, customers, and internal teams receive timely and clear updates regarding shipment statuses.

• Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork.

• Detect and escalate any discrepancies related to weights, quantities, shipping records, documentation, or delivery specifics.

• Oversee final-mile delivery requirements and assist in resolving issues that may hinder successful customer deliveries.

• Receive, evaluate, process, and report on product quality claims and shipment-related discrepancies.

• Manage inventory transfers and warehouse logistics while ensuring accurate tracking of movement records.

• Input customer orders and maintain order details within the company's Order Management and ERP systems.

• Generate both recurring and ad hoc logistics, order, claims, and shipment reports for the Operations team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain, transportation, or a related operations field.

• Background in a B2B logistics or import/export setting involving international shipments.

• Practical experience coordinating both domestic and international shipments.

• Familiarity with shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and customs forms.

• Proficient in written English with strong professional email communication abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and experience adhering to structured processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Experience in coordinating shipments involving regions such as Asia, Mexico, or Latin America.

• Background in processing logistics claims, product quality claims, shipment discrepancies, or documentation irregularities.

• Proficiency in reviewing inconsistencies in quantities, weights, invoices, or shipping documentation.

• Strong skills in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with ERP, Order Management, inventory, or logistics tracking systems.
