Senior Manager, Real Estate – Workplace

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Lead the global real estate portfolio along with workplace operations functions.

β€’ Oversee the growing office presence in San Francisco, Chicago, Amsterdam, Washington D.C., New York, and London.

β€’ Manage a team of 3 members.

β€’ Take ownership of strategic real estate decisions and daily operations.

β€’ Develop the strategy and roadmap for the global real estate portfolio, encompassing 6 offices across 4 time zones.

β€’ Assess new market opportunities in relation to hiring plans, business drivers, and financial implications.

β€’ Create market-entry business cases, complete with financial models, risk assessments, and implementation schedules.

β€’ Forecast real estate expenses, identify optimization prospects, and maintain budget discipline.

β€’ Lead the comprehensive process of office launches, from market assessment to post-launch stabilization.

β€’ Recruit, develop, and mentor 3 office managers in regional hubs.

β€’ Establish standards and frameworks for office operations, employee experience, and vendor management.

β€’ Drive budget management, operational metrics, and employee satisfaction.

β€’ Promote collaboration among office locations and empower local decision-making.

β€’ Provide strategic advice on complex operational matters and escalations.

β€’ Work in collaboration with Finance, People Operations, IT, Security, and Executive Leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Minimum of 8 years in workplace management, real estate operations, or facilities leadership.

β€’ A proven history of managing real estate portfolios across various locations or markets.

β€’ Experience in opening, scaling, or relocating office spaces within rapidly growing tech or professional services firms.

β€’ Extensive knowledge in lease negotiation, vendor management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, facilities management, or a related field.

β€’ At least 8 years of experience in workplace/real estate operations, including the management of multiple teams.

β€’ Demonstrated experience in leading multi-market office expansions or portfolio management.

β€’ Experience in establishing or leading real estate operations from the ground up in a growing tech company.

β€’ Familiarity with international expansion across diverse geographies, time zones, and cultures.

β€’ Willingness to travel approximately 15–20% of the time.

β€’ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

β€’ Capability to work without requiring employment visa sponsorship.
