This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the Quality program for Retirement Plan Operations.
• Supervise a team of Quality professionals and coordinate with vendor resources.
• Propel the strategy and execution of the quality program to enhance operational performance, reduce risk, and improve customer and business outcomes.
• Guide and cultivate talent within the team.
• Conduct intricate audits and reviews at both the participant and plan levels.
• Supervise offshore vendor partners engaged in participant-level audit activities.
• Balance workloads, establish priorities, and ensure that work adheres to performance and documentation standards.
• Recruit, train, provide feedback to, and assess team members.
• Direct complex evaluations and testing to ensure compliance with company protocols, regulatory mandates, Sarbanes-Oxley, ERISA, and essential controls.
• Analyze audit outcomes and operational data to uncover trends, control deficiencies, root causes, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Convey audit findings, associated risks, and recommended actions to business stakeholders.
• Create and sustain quality metrics and scorecards.
• Suggest and execute improvements in processes, procedures, and controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on corrective action plans, issue resolution, and monitoring of remediation efforts.
• Bachelor's degree (4 Year) or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of audit or quality assurance experience directly related to the responsibilities of this role.
• At least 2 years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with a capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
• Capability to assess information and data trends, tackle complex problems, employ sound judgment to derive conclusions, and act effectively in situations with limited standardization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proven track record in leading quality audit programs, preferably within retirement operations, focusing on enhancing controls, mitigating risks, and boosting operational performance.
• Experience overseeing offshore vendor partnerships, including quality governance, performance management, and alignment with audit standards and business goals.
• Ability to transition a quality organization from decentralized teams to a unified, enterprise-wide model.
