Senior Manager, Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold documentation for the site Quality Management System, which includes procedures, work instructions, and visual aids.

• Propose procedures and standards aimed at maintaining process quality.

• Assist with client-related and relevant QMS requirements.

• Oversee the requirements for the 5 Star Site Certification Program.

• Manage Quality and Training obligations.

• Create and sustain HACCP programs when relevant to uphold the Food Safety Policy and Food Defense Plan.

• Ensure the site adheres to applicable GMP standards and FDA regulations.

• Establish and maintain quality standards for essential operational functions.

• Educate site management and employees on QMS components and requirements.

• Lead the response to client complaints and internal errors through root-cause analysis, along with corrective and preventive actions.

• Act as the primary liaison for both external and internal audits, and formulate resulting action plans.

• Assist with recalls, hold notifications, and stop-shipments in collaboration with customer management.

• Compile and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

• Develop and track quality-process KPIs and metrics.

• Conduct or participate in necessary quality-related meetings.

• Sponsor the site Training Program and coordinate training documentation.

• Perform tasks assigned by the site General Manager to ensure client satisfaction.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Ideally, 5 years of experience in a medium to large warehouse in a management role.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Quality Manager.

• Understanding of warehouse operations with fundamental GMP knowledge, as required.

• Preferred familiarity with ISO, HACCP, 21CFR, FDA, and SQF standards.
