Senior Manager, Professional Learning Quality and Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold certification standards and evaluation criteria for external professional learning delivery partners.

• Advise the Professional Learning Operations Director on certification and decertification recommendations.

• Create and conduct ongoing quality monitoring, observations, delivery quality assurance, and partner-specific survey analysis.

• Recognize partner performance issues and collaborate directly with partners to address quality gaps.

• Maintain clear definitions of Zearn's core professional learning messages and participant experience standards.

• Review and consolidate participant feedback from both internal and external professional learning sources.

• Analyze survey data and open-ended feedback to identify recurring needs, inquiries, and opportunities for improvement.

• Establish procedures for triaging participant inquiries and directing them to Professional Learning Delivery or Content teams.

• Provide actionable insights to leadership to guide facilitator support, resource allocation, and delivery decisions.

• Lead the development of emerging professional learning delivery projects and pilot innovative delivery methods.

• Personally spearhead or assist in complex, high-profile, or emerging professional learning experiences.

• Leverage direct delivery experience to enhance quality improvement initiatives and special project assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in professional learning design, instructional coaching, adult learning facilitation, or educational program operations.

• Proven experience in designing or managing quality assurance/certification frameworks for external partners, contracted facilitators, or multi-site delivery networks.

• Strong analytical skills to synthesize data from multiple sources, including surveys, observation rubrics, and qualitative participant feedback, into actionable recommendations and executive summaries.

• Demonstrated excellence in high-stakes facilitation and math pedagogy, with direct experience in classroom teaching, instructional leadership, or district-level professional development.

• Experience in creating operational systems and routines from unclear situations, particularly in transitioning manual QA/support workflows into automated or repeatable team processes.

• Profound pedagogical judgment in math instruction and adult learning methodologies.

• Ability to provide candid, actionable feedback to external partners and internal stakeholders with tact and assertiveness.
