This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to LATAM leadership on organizational strategies, personnel priorities, and leadership development.
• Advocate for Snowflake's AI transformation in LATAM by promoting AI literacy, ensuring effective communication, and implementing evidence-based pilot programs.
• Maintain close connections with daily team operations and efficiently execute initiatives alongside managers and individual contributors.
• Implement talent initiatives such as succession planning, retention strategies, organizational design, and executive coaching.
• Supervise regional HR services, including total rewards, performance management, employee relations, and workplace safety.
• Work collaboratively with global centers of excellence and business units to create customized regional people solutions.
• Lead regional compliance efforts by monitoring LATAM employment legislation and collaborating with Legal, Finance, and local counsel.
• 10-12+ years of extensive HR leadership experience with a strong focus on client-facing strategic advisory and executive coaching, including oversight of regional or multi-country operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in LATAM markets with a comprehensive understanding of local employment laws, regulatory compliance, and compensation practices in key jurisdictions (e.g., Brazil, Mexico, Colombia).
• Proven history of supporting international expansion, including establishing new legal entities, country entry strategies, and operationalizing HR frameworks across new LATAM jurisdictions.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth tech environments, adept at managing cross-functional initiatives across global time zones and remote teams.
• Action-oriented player-coach approach with a proven ability to quickly pilot, launch, and refine initiatives to provide practical business solutions.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills, capable of translating people strategies into clear, measurable business outcomes.
• Proven ability to build credibility and influence key stakeholders at all levels—from frontline management to executive leadership—in matrixed organizations.
• Proficient in English; professional proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly preferred.
• Certification in coaching or formal executive coaching practice.
• Certification in program or change management.
• Experience in M&A or integration within a LATAM context.
• Direct experience in deploying or scaling AI tools within HR or people functions.
