Senior Manager, People Partner – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor to LATAM leadership regarding organizational strategy, human resource priorities, and leadership development.

• Advocate for Snowflake's AI transformation in LATAM by promoting AI literacy, effective communication, and data-driven pilot programs.

• Maintain close connections to daily team operations and ensure efficient execution of initiatives alongside managers and team members.

• Implement talent initiatives such as succession planning, retention strategies, organizational design, and executive coaching.

• Manage regional HR services including total rewards, performance management, employee relations, and workplace safety.

• Collaborate with global Centers of Excellence and business units to develop customized regional people solutions.

• Lead regional compliance initiatives by monitoring LATAM employment laws and collaborating with Legal, Finance, and local counsel.

• Partner with LATAM leaders and the global People team to define people strategy, enhance organizational effectiveness, and improve employee experience.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10-12+ years of comprehensive HR leadership experience with significant client-facing strategic advisory and executive coaching, including oversight of regional or multi-country operations.

• Demonstrated expertise in LATAM markets, with a thorough understanding of local employment laws, regulatory compliance, and compensation practices in key jurisdictions such as Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia.

• Proven success in supporting international expansion, including the establishment of new legal entities, country entry strategies, and implementing HR infrastructures across new LATAM regions.

• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth tech environments, with a comfort level in managing cross-functional initiatives across global time zones and remote teams.

• Action-oriented player-coach approach with a history of quickly piloting, launching, and refining initiatives to provide practical business solutions.

• Strong business acumen and analytical skills, capable of translating people strategy into measurable business outcomes.

• Established ability to build credibility and influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels within matrixed environments.

• Proficient in English.

• Professional fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly desirable.

• Coaching certification or formal executive coaching experience is a valuable asset.

• Certification in program or change management is an additional asset.

• Experience in M&A or integration within a LATAM context is a plus.

• Direct experience in deploying or scaling AI tools within an HR or people function is an advantageous skill.
