Senior Manager, People Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic People partner for Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue locations within the West Region.

• Collaborate with regional leadership to implement and carry out essential people initiatives.

• Provide guidance on organizational effectiveness, design structures, and manage organizational changes.

• Foster a diverse, inclusive, and engaged organizational culture.

• Mentor and support store leadership and managers in areas such as leadership development, performance, and complex escalations.

• Work alongside teams in compensation, benefits, legal, associate relations, people technology, and people operations.

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to source and identify both internal and external candidates.

• Ensure the effective delivery of associate training and development programs, including new hire orientation and service behavior training.

• Convert business priorities into actionable people strategies leveraging sales and HR data.

• Navigate intricate people issues with the Regional PBP Director to ensure consistent execution of People priorities.

• Execute ad hoc responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner role or a related field.

• Strong ability to communicate information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as Workday.

• Proven experience in influencing and advising leaders on talent and employment issues.

• Capable of prioritizing workload and managing projects independently.

• Flexible and adaptable to shifting business needs.

• Experience in managing and facilitating HR programs and processes.

• Strong creative problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

• A steadfast commitment to service and quality.

• Exceptional relationship-building and trust-establishing skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.

• Experience in a luxury retail environment is a plus.
