People Operations Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.

📋 Description

• Monitor legislative changes across states and develop as well as enact policy revisions for various employee classifications and pay scales.

• Oversee the complete annual compliance audit and refresh the employee handbook within the initial 90 days.

• Address escalated inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and leave.

• Evaluate and remove obstacles faced by Payroll and HR Administration team members.

• Redesign HR operational processes with a focus on AI-driven methodologies.

• Assume responsibility for the daily management of HR operations.

• Provide HR operational support for a rapidly expanding AI-driven advisory firm that caters to physical-asset owners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.

• Minimum of 2 years of practical HR generalist experience.

• Authentic experience in in-house, multi-state compliance.

• Practical experience in policy drafting, payroll processing, and compliance documentation.

• Comfortable engaging with payroll, benefits, and compliance within a small, high-pressure team environment.

• Enthusiastic about integrating AI into HR practices.

• Must currently reside in an eligible U.S. state or Ontario, Canada.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada.

• Practical in-house experience with multi-state HR compliance.
