This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist in the implementation of patient advocacy strategies for both enterprise and brand levels within a rare disease portfolio.
β’ Provide operational and project management assistance to the patient advocacy team.
β’ Work alongside the Director of Patient Advocacy and cross-functional partners to execute programs, initiatives, and resources that address the needs of patients and caregivers.
β’ Oversee patient advocacy partnerships, focusing on relationship building, sponsorship and grant management, and fulfillment of benefits.
β’ Act as the primary contact for patient organizations and advocacy leaders.
β’ Gather, analyze, and report on program metrics.
β’ Collaborate on the creation and distribution of compliant educational materials aimed at patients.
β’ Identify opportunities and events in patient advocacy; manage the events calendar and coordinate attendance across functions.
β’ Assist with budget management and vendor oversight.
β’ Create agendas for team meetings, document actionable items, and ensure follow-up.
β’ Manage the inventory and budget associated with advocacy materials.
β’ Participate in calls with external vendors and partners.
β’ Represent the organization at patient advocacy events and meetings, producing follow-up reports.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in patient advocacy, corporate affairs, or a related area within the biotech/pharma sectors.
β’ Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with patient advocacy organizations and community stakeholders.
β’ A team player who is enthusiastic about collaborating closely with colleagues.
β’ Strong dedication to advocating for patient communities.
β’ Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects effectively.
β’ Familiarity with the regulations governing patient engagement in the industry.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 30β40%, including evenings, weekends, and multi-day trips.
β’ Capability to represent the organization at significant patient advocacy events.
