This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Optimize business opportunities for authorized Parkinson's franchise products.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director for Parkinson's.
• Oversee and develop a team of 6–8 Account Executives as direct reports.
• Build and sustain strategic relationships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, advanced practice providers, health care professionals, nurses, executives, department managers, and support staff.
• Enhance education regarding product benefits and risks while increasing awareness of therapeutic gaps in line with approved labels.
• Generate new business, expand current business, optimize resource allocation, and boost sales to meet the assigned product portfolio sales objectives.
• Execute franchise goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics.
• Foster the development of franchise culture and collaborative business execution.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, educate, and develop team members.
• Ensure direct reports adhere to expected behaviors and standards.
• Conduct comprehensive account management with Account Executive team members.
• Design, implement, and convey strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts.
• Track and report on sales progress.
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize resources and tools to facilitate compliant selling strategies.
• Represent AbbVie within the Parkinson's and Neuroscience sectors to health care professionals and patient organizations.
• Participate in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events, including some evenings and weekends.
• Relay critical information and findings to internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on Parkinson's clinical, market, and payer advancements.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations and standards impacting business operations.
• Ability to assess the business landscape and develop/implement strategies in response to market opportunities.
• Must meet applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain HCIR credentials.
• Background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific licenses may be required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Willingness to travel; this role involves travel approximately 50% of the time.
