
Senior Manager, Parkinson's Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Optimize business prospects for authorized on-market Parkinson's drug-device combination products.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director for Parkinson's and oversee a team of 6–8 Account Executives.
• Build and sustain strategic partnerships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, Advanced Practice Providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, department managers, and support staff.
• Enhance awareness regarding product advantages, associated risks, approved labeling, and therapeutic gaps.
• Generate new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, optimize resource utilization, and boost sales to meet the designated product portfolio sales objectives.
• Execute franchise goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics.
• Foster the development of franchise culture and collaborative business practices.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct reports.
• Ensure direct reports are held accountable for their behaviors and performance expectations.
• Manage strategic accounts and cultivate multilevel relationships with leading Movement Disorder Centers and selected accounts.
• Design, implement, and communicate strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts.
• Track and report on sales progress.
• Maintain regular communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize available resources and tools to support compliant selling strategies.
• Represent AbbVie within the Parkinson's and Neuroscience sectors among healthcare professionals and patient organizations.
• Participate in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events.
• Relay key information, developments, and findings to internal stakeholders.
• Stay informed on clinical, market, and payer developments related to Parkinson's Disease.
• Fulfill HCIR credentialing requirements for facilities and organizations within the assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations and standards impacting the business.
• Capability to assess the business environment and develop/implement strategies in response to market opportunities.
• HCIR credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific licenses.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain necessary HCIR credentials.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle or company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Completion of all mandatory AbbVie training and adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
