Senior Manager, Ops Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Assist ISC, BU, and Site Leadership in overseeing plant financial management.

• Deliver precise and timely reports regarding plant operations.

• Develop and implement systems and procedures.

• Conduct regular audits of plant activities.

• Keep thorough records and maintain original entry books.

• Prepare financial statements that accurately reflect company operations.

• Counsel Leadership on financial issues relevant to operations.

• Supply financial data to plant personnel and supervisors.

• Aid in managing GR/IR, fixed assets, budgets, standard costs, monthly closing/reporting, variance forecasting, capital projections, internal audits, analysis tasks, and cost estimates.

• Notify management of potential risk areas and review plant operations.

• Maintain plant fixed-asset records according to Corporate Policy and Internal Revenue Service regulations.

• Create and uphold cost systems for all product lines at each site.

• Collaborate with Site Controllers to develop the finance team and other site leadership.

• Facilitate training sessions as necessary.

• Work alongside Site Leadership to identify opportunities for cost improvements.

• Assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventories.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Ops Finance Director.

• Operate remotely in the U.S. with occasional travel as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• At least 5 years of experience in cost accounting, FP&A, operations finance, general accounting, and/or auditing.

• Preferred professional experience in a large global multi-segment organization.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, BPC, SAP, and Power BI.

• Skills in data and analytical modeling.

• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
