Financial Reporting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop tasks related to the preparation of financial statements, consolidation, cash flow reporting, disclosures, and technical accounting evaluations.

• Create reference solutions that include reconciled statements, supporting schedules, and well-documented accounting judgments.

• Assess AI agents tasked with mapping trial balances, making consolidation adjustments, drafting disclosures, and evaluating reporting packages.

• Design scenarios that involve intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, reporting discrepancies, and complex accounting treatments.

• Establish evaluation criteria for accuracy, completeness, presentation, and adherence to the designated accounting framework.

• Detect missing disclosures, inconsistent figures, unsupported conclusions, and inaccuracies in agents’ use of reporting tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in financial reporting, with responsibilities that include preparing or reviewing financial statements and reporting deliverables.

• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP, particularly in financial statement presentation and disclosure requirements.

• Experience in consolidation, technical accounting research, and financial reporting controls.

• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, along with familiarity with reporting or consolidation systems.

• Proficient in English, with strong writing communication abilities.

• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

• Experience managing monthly, quarterly, or annual reporting cycles is preferred.

• Background in preparing consolidated financial statements for multi-entity or multinational organizations is preferred.

• Familiarity with Workiva, Oracle FCCS, SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms is preferred.

• Experience in coordinating external audits and reviewing reporting deliverables prepared by others is preferred.
