Senior Manager, Network Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of up to 10 management professionals focused on Construction scheduling, dispatch, customer delivery, and strategic initiatives.

• Supervise scheduling, dispatch, and project management activities for field teams.

• Manage roadblock resolution, engineering work order validation, material control, compliance, dispatch integration, job reconciliation, and engineering interface.

• Oversee Construction dispatch, scheduling, and strategic programs within an AVP Market Area.

• Ensure effective program execution and drive achievement of targets.

• Spearhead cross-functional projects that align with business strategies and requirements.

• Propel construction transformation by leveraging and advocating for AI while leading cost-reduction and speed initiatives.

• Provide data analysis and capacity reporting for review by senior executives.

• Keep executive leadership informed with ongoing updates on program progress.

• Maintain proactive communication with key partner organizations.

• Structure build initiatives to align with corporate financial objectives and operational performance goals.

• Develop action plans to achieve milestone objectives.

• Collaborate across functions to implement tracking metrics, test plans, end-user communications, and business objectives.

• Champion customer interests across IT, Network Planning, and Outside Plant to uphold established timelines, budgets, and user experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of equivalent professional experience.

• Recent, hands-on experience within the Construction Support Group.

• Ability to read Engineering Work Orders and proficiency with vBuild, Optix CXM, and other construction systems and dashboards.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all leadership levels to achieve key milestones.

• Familiarity with the complete Google Workspace application suite.

• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in unionized environments.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.

• Advanced degree (Master’s) is preferred.

• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale initiatives and delivering projects is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in shaping departmental strategy and organizational direction is preferred.

• Background in managing substantial budgets while adhering to overtime targets is preferred.

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive cost-benefit analyses is preferred.

• Ability to manage conflicts, work effectively under high-pressure conditions, and implement solutions that enhance team performance to exceed organizational goals is preferred.
