Senior Manager, Network Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of up to 10 management professionals focused on construction scheduling, dispatch, customer delivery, and strategic initiatives.

• Supervise scheduling, dispatch, and project management activities for field teams.

• Coordinate the resolution of roadblocks, validate engineering work orders, manage material controls, ensure compliance, integrate dispatch, reconcile jobs, and interface with engineering.

• Manage construction dispatch, scheduling, and strategic programs within an AVP Market Area.

• Oversee program execution and drive achievement of targets.

• Direct cross-functional projects that align with business strategies and requirements.

• Propel construction transformation through the utilization and promotion of AI while leading cost-reduction and speed-to-build initiatives.

• Provide data analysis and capacity reporting for review by senior executives.

• Offer continuous updates on program progress to executive leadership.

• Maintain proactive communication with key partner organizations.

• Structure build initiatives to align with corporate financial targets and operational performance objectives.

• Develop action plans to achieve specific milestones.

• Collaborate across functions to implement tracking metrics, testing plans, end-user communications, and business objectives.

• Advocate for customers across IT, Network Planning, and Outside Plant to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and user experience commitments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of equivalent work experience.

• Recent, hands-on experience within the Construction Support Group.

• Proficiency in reading Engineering Work Orders and using vBuild, Optix CXM, and other construction systems and dashboards.

• Proven ability to partner with all leadership levels to achieve key milestones.

• Proficiency in the complete Google Workspace application suite.

• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working in union environments.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.

• Advanced degree (Master’s) preferred.

• Proven success in leading large-scale initiatives and delivering projects preferred.

• Demonstrated history of influencing departmental strategy and organizational direction preferred.

• Experience overseeing significant budgets while maintaining alignment with overtime targets preferred.

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive cost-benefit analyses preferred.

• Ability to resolve conflicts, perform effectively under pressure, and drive solutions that enhance team performance to exceed organizational goals preferred.
