Senior Manager, Network Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of as many as 10 management professionals to support daily construction scheduling, dispatch, customer deliveries, and strategic initiatives.

• Supervise scheduling, dispatch, and project management activities for field teams.

• Coordinate the mitigation of roadblocks, validation of engineering work orders, material controls, compliance, dispatch integration, job reconciliation, and engineering interfaces.

• Manage construction dispatch, scheduling, and strategic programs throughout an AVP Market Area.

• Ensure program execution and drive the achievement of targets.

• Guide cross-functional projects that align with business strategies and requirements.

• Foster construction transformation through the use of AI and spearhead initiatives focused on cost reduction and increased speed.

• Provide data analysis and capacity reporting for review by senior executives.

• Offer ongoing progress updates on programs to executive leadership.

• Maintain proactive communication with key partner organizations.

• Design build initiatives that support corporate financial goals and operational performance objectives.

• Develop action plans to achieve milestone objectives.

• Collaborate across functions to implement tracking metrics, test plans, end-user communications, and business goals.

• Champion customer interests across IT, Network Planning, and Outside Plant to uphold committed timelines, budgets, and user experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or four or more years of equivalent work experience.

• Recent hands-on experience within the Construction Support Group.

• Ability to read Engineering Work Orders proficiently.

• Experience with vBuild, Optix CXM, and other construction systems and dashboards.

• Demonstrated ability to partner across all levels of leadership to achieve key milestones.

• Proficiency in using the complete Google Workspace application suite.

• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working within union environments.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.

• Advanced degree (Master’s) is preferred.

• Proven success in leading large-scale initiatives and delivering projects is preferred.

• A demonstrated history of shaping departmental strategy and guiding organizational direction is preferred.

• Background in overseeing significant budgets while adhering to overtime targets is preferred.

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive cost-benefit evaluations is preferred.

• Ability to manage conflicts, perform effectively under pressure, and implement solutions that enhance team performance to exceed organizational goals is preferred.
