This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the annual bid development process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, financial goals, and benefit structures.
• Establish a PBP-specific strategy that takes into account positioning, growth opportunities, MCR targets, and service regions.
• Propose innovative supplemental benefits offerings.
• Develop and manage Clover’s competitive intelligence capabilities across enrollment, benefit design, pricing, market strategies, and industry trends.
• Create scalable, AI-driven competitive intelligence tools and frameworks.
• Assess product portfolio performance and strategic alignment; suggest product improvements, repositioning, or new plan introductions.
• Collaborate with Actuarial and Growth teams to shape the benefit-change strategy.
• Construct and analyze multi-year membership and financial scenario models.
• Investigate new geographic markets and implement market-entry strategies through operational launches.
• Supervise the analysis and preparation for monthly business reviews with the Chief of Staff.
• Spearhead innovative partnerships and priority growth initiatives from inception to execution.
• Report directly to the Chief of Staff to the CFO while coordinating cross-functional leaders around strategies for profitable growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
• 7-10+ years of experience in strategic planning, corporate development, finance, or management consulting, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the Medicare Advantage or managed care sectors.
• Exceptional skills in quantitative analysis; capable of constructing and managing high-level multi-year financial and membership scenario models.
• Profound understanding of Medicare Advantage economics, bid mechanics, and the factors driving profitable growth.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare benefits and pricing structures.
• Proven experience in leading market expansion or new product development initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze competitor strategies and market dynamics to guide business decisions.
• Strong project management capabilities and experience in steering large-scale, cross-functional projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to simplify complex information into clear, actionable insights for an executive audience.
