This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and develop the medical education function for Haemonetics Interventional Technologies.
• Oversee physician and hospital staff education initiatives for PerQseal Elite, including case observation programs, hands-on simulation labs, and preceptorship pathways.
• Create a robust medical education infrastructure, including CME/CE accreditation processes, grant strategies, and compliance systems.
• Identify, contract, and manage faculty in collaboration with Medical Affairs and Legal/Compliance teams.
• Formulate and manage the medical education budget, CME/IME grant funding decisions, vendor relationships, and track program ROI.
• Design and implement hands-on training curricula to ensure procedural competency for IVT products.
• Collaborate with Sales Training to enhance the procedural expertise of field clinical specialists for physician proctoring.
• Work alongside Clinical Marketing to align educational programming with KOL and commercial evidence strategies while maintaining organizational distinction.
• Partner with Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance teams to fulfill CME/ACCME accreditation and Sunshine Act/Open Payments requirements.
• Monitor program outcomes, physician proficiency milestones, and education metrics.
• Expand policies, systems, and vendor relationships, growing the function beyond PerQseal Elite across the IVT portfolio.
• Supervise team members, including responsibilities for hiring, training, development, work assignments, performance evaluations, rewards, discipline, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Bachelor's Degree, specifically a B.S. in biomedical engineering or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in medical education, clinical training, or as a field clinical specialist in the medical device or healthcare sectors.
• Proven experience in managing physician proctoring, preceptorship, or case observation programs.
• Background in interventional cardiology, vascular closure, or structural heart fields.
• Knowledge of IRB processes and compliance guidelines for HCP engagement.
• Proficient in curriculum design and facilitating hands-on/simulation training.
• Experienced in managing faculty and proctor networks.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory teams.
• An MBA is preferred.
• Familiarity with CME/IME grant processes and accreditation standards is preferred.
• Experience working in a regulated industry, with knowledge of regulatory/legal content review processes is preferred.
