This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +11 more states.
• Assess medical expenses, quality outcomes, and utilization factors to enhance value-based primary care
• Plan, execute, and oversee healthcare claims-data analyses to discover trends, anomalies, and underlying causes
• Convert intricate datasets into actionable strategies for executive and field leadership
• Create financial models and forecasts pertaining to healthcare costs and utilization
• Anticipate future healthcare spending and project potential savings
• Analyze the financial implications of clinical initiatives and interventions
• Design and sustain reports and dashboards that monitor performance metrics and economic drivers
• Collaborate with Finance, Clinical, and Data Science teams to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities
• Enhance value-based payment models
• Assess the effects of value-based care initiatives on medical costs and quality outcomes, including clinical and financial ROI
• Work alongside Data Engineering to establish long-term data assets and scalable analytics infrastructure
• Ensure that analyses and reporting adhere to regulatory standards and industry norms
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in quantitative analysis, healthcare analytics, or medical economics within the healthcare or payer sector
• Extensive subject matter expertise in value-based care, population health, and medical claims data (ICD-10, CPT)
• Advanced skills in SQL for intricate data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering executive-ready insights to C-suite and clinical leadership
• Outstanding problem-solving, decision-making, and project execution abilities
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred
• Experience in value-based care analytics for Medicare Advantage and Traditional Medicare programs is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, finance, economics, or a related analytical discipline
