
Senior Manager, MarTech – Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and implement the growth strategy for Salesforce services within CDW's comprehensive MarTech portfolio.
• Develop and expand Salesforce services across various sectors including Commercial, Enterprise, Healthcare, Financial Services, State and Local Government, Education, and Federal markets.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify, qualify, shape, and expedite Salesforce opportunities.
• Create unique Salesforce service offerings, accelerators, methodologies, reference architectures, and reusable resources.
• Drive the generation of pipelines, service bookings, revenue achievements, backlog conversion, and margin performance.
• Oversee strategy, growth, capability development, and service delivery across Salesforce clouds, CRM, AI, and managed services.
• Act as executive sponsor for significant Salesforce initiatives and key customer relationships.
• Engage in executive client meetings, discovery workshops, solution evaluations, proposal assessments, and deal strategy discussions.
• Assist in proposal preparation, statements of work, cost estimation, pricing strategies, and contract evaluations.
• Lead pipeline assessments, forecasting, and account growth strategies.
• Cultivate executive relationships throughout the Salesforce ecosystem and with strategic partners.
• Direct joint business planning, market alignment, co-selling initiatives, partner sourcing, capacity management, delivery governance, and issue escalations.
• Provide executive oversight for strategic Salesforce clients and complex projects.
• Develop repeatable delivery methodologies and governance across project initiation, scope management, financial controls, change management, risk management, and project closure.
• Monitor portfolio health, project risks, customer satisfaction, resource requirements, and commercial performance.
• Serve as escalation lead for major delivery, customer, contractual, staffing, and partner challenges.
• Drive revenue from services, gross margin, utilization, forecasting, backlog conversion, and overall portfolio performance.
• Manage project financials, staffing strategies, partner costs, delivery assumptions, margin inconsistencies, inefficiencies, project scope changes, and resource limitations.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and retain Delivery Managers, Engagement Leads, Salesforce architects, consultants, engineers, and project professionals.
• Foster the development of future practice and delivery leaders through coaching, succession planning, and growth opportunities.
• Promote Salesforce certification programs, capability enhancement, mentoring, hands-on delivery experiences, and structured learning initiatives.
• Align workforce capacity and skillsets with customer demands and strategic objectives.
• Lead effectively across distributed teams in the United States and globally.
• Advocate for CDW's vision of becoming an AI-fluent organization and encourage responsible AI usage and ongoing learning.
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of experience with the Salesforce platform, delivering large-scale enterprise Salesforce technical solutions, including planning, development, implementation, and support.
• Minimum of three years in a leadership role.
• 5-7 years of experience in CRM.
• Proven ability to lead teams, build consensus, and foster accountability across matrixed organizations.
• Skill in identifying and creatively addressing customer, project, commercial, and personnel challenges.
• Established negotiation skills and experience collaborating with technology vendors and business partners.
• Capacity to work collaboratively across Sales, Solutions, Services, Alliances, and leadership teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Demonstrated capability to serve as a trusted advisor in strategic customer and partner relationships.
• Ability to manage organizational change, ambiguity, delivery pressures, and risks while exercising sound judgment.
• Proficiency in prioritizing multiple initiatives and formulating long-term plans for complex services, solutions, and capabilities.
• More than 10 years of experience leading Salesforce consulting, delivery, or professional services organizations.
• Experience in building or scaling a Salesforce consulting or delivery practice.
• Familiarity with managing Salesforce alliance and ecosystem partnerships.
• Proven track record in driving services pipeline, bookings, revenue, margin, and utilization outcomes.
• Experience in leading large Salesforce implementations and managed services projects.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Agentforce, CRM, or Industry Clouds.
• Salesforce certifications are highly preferred.
• Experience in managing P&L, forecasting, staffing, workforce planning, and practice operations is preferred.
• Ability to connect Salesforce investments to measurable customer outcomes.
• Willingness to explore how AI can enhance strategy, decision-making, and team performance.
