
Senior Manager, Marketing Decision Science

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead and develop a team of 5 Decision Scientists and Marketing Analysts, overseeing their performance, growth, and daily operations.
• Manage the complete delivery of paid marketing analytics workstreams, which includes setting channel-level goals, pacing, conducting incrementality tests, and analyzing acquisition and retention, as well as measuring Retailer Marketing.
• Contribute to the comprehensive marketing measurement framework, encompassing MMM, incrementality testing, LTV, and MTA.
• Facilitate re-goaling, rebasing, and scenario modeling to guide marketing budget distribution.
• Act as the primary analytical liaison for senior marketing leadership and Finance.
• Represent MDSA during MBRs, SBRs, and Pacing Meetings.
• Define and advance the Marketing Decision Science roadmap in collaboration with the Director.
• Collaborate with Marketing Data Science on measurement architecture, LTV modeling, and measurement infrastructure.
• Enhance analytical self-service capabilities and minimize recurring reporting through tools and automation.
• Develop team capacity and coverage strategies.
• Anticipate the needs of stakeholders and provide proactive insights.
• 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a quantitative role.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams of analysts or decision scientists.
• Profound knowledge in paid marketing measurement, including incrementality testing, marketing mix modeling, attribution, LTV-based optimization, and channel-level performance analytics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of data.
• Capability to independently manage senior cross-functional relationships and represent a data science function in leadership discussions.
• Skill in translating complex analyses into clear investment recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and mentoring Decision Scientists or Marketing Analysts with a strong emphasis on quality and direct feedback.
• Preferred: experience in a consumer-facing marketplace or a rapidly growing technology company.
• Preferred: familiarity with geo-experimentation, Bayesian methods, or causal inference frameworks.
• Preferred: experience with LTV-based media optimization and budget allocation modeling.
• Preferred: background in building or revamping channel-level reporting and pacing systems.
