
Senior Manager, Major Gifts Stewardship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the planning and implementation of significant donor stewardship touchpoints.
β’ Manage stewardship correspondence for the CEO and executive leadership, including acknowledgments.
β’ Coordinate the review, approval, tracking, and submission of donor communications.
β’ Compile and assess mailing/email lists for outreach to major donors.
β’ Monitor stewardship deliverables and ensure compliance with deadlines.
β’ Organize the production and delivery of impact reports, milestone recognitions, and follow-ups for events.
β’ Lead the planning and execution of the major donor reporting initiative.
β’ Oversee the adoption and effectiveness of the video messaging platform.
β’ Work in collaboration with the Philanthropy team on stewardship resources and communications.
β’ Manage stewardship communications and resources within Donor Engagement systems and Salesforce.
β’ Enhance CRM systems and processes while utilizing data to guide stewardship strategies.
β’ Keep accurate constituent records and document stewardship activities along with donor preferences.
β’ Identify and report data quality issues to the Data Insights and IT teams.
β’ Assist with analysis, planning, reporting, donor retention, engagement, and long-term giving strategies.
β’ Act as a strategic thought partner across Donor Engagement, Philanthropy, Executive Operations, and Mission.
β’ Engage senior and executive leaders in complex donor strategy discussions.
β’ Facilitate reporting on the progress and effectiveness of stewardship initiatives.
β’ Bachelor's Degree; coursework or certifications in nonprofit management, communications, or fundraising are advantageous.
β’ At least 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in donor stewardship, fundraising operations, or major gifts within a nonprofit organization.
β’ Experience supporting a major gift fundraising team, with a solid understanding of donor engagement and stewardship best practices.
β’ Demonstrated attention to detail.
β’ Experience managing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and tracking donor activities and preferences.
β’ Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
β’ Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional team setting.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
β’ Familiarity with Canva or other design tools is a plus.
β’ Occasional travel required, approximately twice a year.
