This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the owner lifecycle marketing process, managing scheduled and triggered communications from the initial information request through onboarding, the first 180 days, and beyond.
• Review existing and planned communications, creating specific mapped journeys tailored for Core, Plus, and Pro owners.
• Broaden lifecycle communication channels beyond email and SMS to include in-product nudges, push notifications, help content, and strategically timed sales or onboarding interactions.
• Oversee the transition of owner communications from outdated platforms to Customer.io, establishing build standards and governance practices.
• Develop segmentation and triggers based on real-time behaviors and performance indicators.
• Manage pre-activation nurturing and recovery efforts, including sequences for post-information requests, abandoned lead recovery, re-engagement strategies, and targeted outbound campaigns.
• Enhance conversion rates across segments with low engagement.
• Drive metrics related to qualified lead conversion and owner retention over the first 180 days.
• Design and implement hypothesis-driven A/B tests, applying insights to future testing efforts.
• Collaborate with sales, product, onboarding, support, and analytics teams to translate operational updates into clear communications for owners.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing for consumer or prosumer audiences, with a proven ability to manage multi-stage journeys.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with enterprise marketing automation platforms such as Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, Marketo, or similar, including the ability to build, deploy, debug, and optimize journeys directly.
• A solid history of accountability for revenue, conversion, or retention targets achieved through lifecycle initiatives.
• Experience in auditing and integrating fragmented communication systems into a unified platform with a coherent architecture.
• A strong analytical mindset, with skills in audience segmentation, cohort/journey performance analysis, and executing hypothesis-driven A/B tests.
• Exceptional copywriting skills, capable of crafting clear, engaging, and relatable content tailored for business owners.
• Experience in marketing to small business owners or prosumer segments.
• Proficiency in AI-driven workflows; familiarity with modern tools such as Claude to enhance research, drafting, and analytical capabilities.
