This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee intricate, high-value, high-visibility, and mission-critical federal procurements across the entire acquisition lifecycle.
β’ Provide guidance to government leadership and acquisition stakeholders regarding strategies, contract vehicles, competition, contract types, evaluation methodologies, timelines, and associated risks.
β’ Interpret and implement the FAR, agency supplements, procurement policies, statutory requirements, and client-specific procedures.
β’ Direct the formulation and assessment of acquisition plans, market research, requirements documents, IGCEs, solicitations, source selection plans, evaluations, price analyses, negotiations, and award documentation.
β’ Spearhead complex source selections and offer expert advice on proposal evaluations, price reasonableness, negotiation strategies, and award decisions.
β’ Counsel clients on multifaceted pre-award and post-award issues, including modifications, options, funding actions, performance concerns, and claims-related matters.
β’ Set quality standards, conduct compliance assessments, and create templates, procedures, checklists, internal controls, and process enhancements.
β’ Manage multiple acquisition workstreams, report to senior leadership, coordinate stakeholder efforts, mentor acquisition personnel, and resolve escalated technical issues.
β’ Must currently possess the authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
β’ Capability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Acquisition Management, Contract Management, or a related discipline.
β’ A minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in federal acquisition, contracting, or procurement.
β’ At least 8 years of experience independently managing complex or high-value federal acquisitions, which includes acquisition strategy, solicitation development, source selection, proposal evaluation, negotiation, award, and contract administration.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience leading acquisition teams or concurrent procurement workstreams while providing technical direction, quality assurance, and support to acquisition professionals.
β’ Desired significant experience as a Federal Contracting Officer, Senior Contract Specialist, Procurement Analyst, Acquisition Advisor, or acquisition leader.
β’ A current or prior Contracting Officer warrant is preferred.
β’ Preferred FAC-C Professional, legacy FAC-C Level III, DAWIA Contracting certification, or equivalent acquisition credentials.
β’ Desired experience with major, high-value, or mission-critical federal procurements, including FAR Part 15 competitive negotiated acquisitions.
β’ Extensive experience with GSA Schedules, GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, task orders, and other governmentwide contract vehicles is preferred.
β’ Desired experience supporting acquisition policy development, compliance assessments, procurement management reviews, or bid protest response and mitigation.
β’ Experience in developing acquisition workforce training, SOPs, templates, quality-control frameworks, process improvements, or procurement modernization initiatives is preferred.
