This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of stock and sales planning to meet gross shipment and retail sales objectives.
• Create and manage gross shipment forecasts, forecast returns and DIFs, while overseeing discontinuations to minimize RTV liabilities.
• Ensure accurate and optimal inventory levels across all sales channels.
• Relay retail and net status updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to build and adjust the monthly retail House Product Line.
• Ensure timely order receipt from retail partners and address any potential errors.
• Foster and nurture relationships with retailers, understanding their needs and aspirations.
• Collaborate with the Buying Team on seasonal planning strategies.
• Oversee COOP, Strategic Planning, and Spend; negotiate COOP placements, exposures, and pricing structures.
• Manage COM programming, offers, GWP’s, and exposures.
• Handle and negotiate Case line and Planogram updates customized for each retailer and brand.
• Balance company and retailer objectives while upholding brand values.
• Work alongside Brand Marketing teams to align on seasonal goals and focus areas.
• Identify opportunities to boost brand visibility and performance.
• Utilize Cognos and Power BI to extract weekly sales data and analyze sell-through performance.
• Provide weekly sales summaries and insights to internal stakeholders and leadership.
• Deliver weekly by-door sales summaries to field teams.
• Support the Executive Director and Director, collaborating with the Planner.
• Coordinate team priorities, workflow, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.
• Communicate with field teams and manage updates to programming for seamless execution.
• Perform additional duties as necessary to support the organization’s vision, mission, and values.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• At least 5-8 years of wholesale experience, preferably within the Beauty sector.
• Proven ability to lead and manage multiple high-level relationships.
• In-depth understanding of the beauty industry, including products, trends, and competitors.
• Exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and a self-starter mentality.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in organizing and prioritizing tasks while adhering to budgets.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities concurrently.
• Solid grasp of business principles and financial concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including pivot tables, vlookups, and sumif functions.
• Familiarity with the Cognos Reporting System; proficiency in Power BI is highly recommended.
