This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the operational strategy, implementation, and ongoing enhancement efforts for the company's key customer accounts.
• Act as the main operational lead for significant initiatives and projects related to strategic accounts.
• Coordinate supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, sales, inventory management, shipping, and executive leadership.
• Supervise the Demand Planning Team and produce precise demand forecasts.
• Propel operational readiness and align customer requirements with internal business capabilities.
• Formulate and implement account-specific operational strategies that promote growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Serve as the primary contact for intricate operational challenges, escalations, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional projects including New Product Introduction (NPI), process enhancements, system implementations, capacity expansions, customer onboarding, network optimization, and supply chain transformation.
• Establish project timelines, milestones, risk mitigation strategies, and communication plans for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Logistics, Sales, and other departments.
• Track project performance, risks, and dependencies while guiding teams in developing solutions.
• Mentor and develop professionals in Demand Planning.
• Oversee forecasting, demand reviews, and inventory planning for key accounts.
• Enhance forecast accuracy and adopt best practices for demand planning along with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Align customer demand with manufacturing capacity and inventory strategies.
• Identify supply constraints, operational risks, and capacity challenges while driving resolution plans.
• Provide business updates, operational reviews, and performance insights to senior leadership.
• Create and monitor KPIs for forecast accuracy, customer service, inventory health, project execution, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support digital transformation and process automation efforts.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent combinations of education and relevant professional experience will also be considered.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, planning, or customer operations roles.
• More than 3 years of leadership experience managing planning, operations, or supply chain teams.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional operational projects and New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across various functions and organizational levels.
• Exceptional project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience with ERP, APS, and forecasting systems is preferred.
• Background in complex manufacturing, consumer products, industrial, medical device, or similar environments is preferred.
