Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Lead teams and managers responsible for infrastructure engineering, network services, cloud platforms, and essential infrastructure technologies.

• Provide guidance, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and opportunities for professional growth.

• Communicate priorities, expectations, and operational performance among IT teams, leadership, and business stakeholders.

• Oversee the architecture, engineering, lifecycle, availability, performance, and continuous enhancement of enterprise infrastructure platforms and services.

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and effective delivery of core infrastructure services.

• Supervise identity and access management, including governance, authentication, privileged access, and directory services.

• Define and uphold infrastructure standards, architectural patterns, lifecycle practices, technical controls, and documentation.

• Direct maintenance, upgrades, patching, modernization, asset management, and reduction of technical debt.

• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, IT Operations, business stakeholders, and vendor partners.

• Utilize infrastructure health, capacity, reliability, and lifecycle metrics to assess risk and inform investment decisions.

• Support enterprise resilience, disaster recovery, incident response, and business continuity programs.

• Provide technical preparedness for recovery planning, disaster recovery drills, cyber incident simulations, and business continuity testing.

• Promote enhancements in infrastructure automation, observability, capacity management, technical resilience, and engineering practices.

• Aid in planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.

• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, service agreements, and third-party performance metrics.

• Identify opportunities to optimize costs, mitigate risks, enhance operational efficiency, and improve service value.

• Implement infrastructure plans that align with the Infrastructure & Operations strategy.

• Support operational readiness for significant technology initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and business transformation efforts.

• Participate in IT leadership planning, vendor briefings, technology roadmap discussions, special projects, audits, and cross-functional meetings.

• Assist with IT policies, procedures, standards, operating documentation, and business continuity strategies.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in information technology, infrastructure, operations, and/or service delivery.

• At least 5 years of experience in leading technical teams, managers, or operational service functions.

• Experience in managing enterprise infrastructure platforms, engineering delivery, technical lifecycle programs, modernization initiatives, and vendor relationships.

• Proficient knowledge of ITSM practices and capability to collaborate with IT Operations on incident, problem, change, service level, and operational readiness processes.

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, asset management, vendor management, and operational planning.

• Ability to lead through changes, manage competing priorities, and drive measurable improvements.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.

• Solid understanding of infrastructure, operations, ITSM, and enterprise service delivery.

• Ability to guide cross-functional teams during incidents, projects, and operational improvement initiatives.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to translate strategic direction into operational execution.

• Strong discipline in financial, vendor, and risk management.

• Ability to instill accountability, continuous improvement, and operational maturity.

• Strong judgment, decision-making, and prioritization skills.

• Capability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
