This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Design solutions that encompass hardware, software, services, and as-a-service offerings to meet customer business objectives.
• Create and deliver precise and relevant proposals for customers.
• Ensure that both business and technical customer requirements are fulfilled.
• Offer technical knowledge to sales teams and clients through presentations and demonstrations.
• Analyze business challenges, articulate business value, and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of solutions.
• Convert outcome-driven solutions into functional and scalable technical designs and architectures.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Assist at conferences and industry events by providing content, presentations, demonstrations, and booth activities.
• Collect and utilize competitive intelligence.
• Lead account business planning and aid customer transformation strategies.
• Create comparative analyses of various solution approaches.
• Develop, configure, and optimize workload solutions.
• Utilize partner products and services to enhance customer deals.
• Share knowledge with external partners.
• Expand pipeline through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying account opportunities.
• Oversee and cultivate active deals until closure.
• Engage in sales forecasting and expedite the sales lifecycle.
• Document sales-cycle activities and disseminate best practices.
• Foster relationships with customer executives.
• Share expertise with colleagues and mentor junior team members.
• US citizenship is mandatory.
• Travel of 50% or more is required.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience working with or supporting the Federal Sector in DOD.
• At least 6 years of technical IT experience with an emphasis on technical consulting and solution selling.
• Practical experience in system and network administration, data center operations, and management of enterprise infrastructure.
• Capability to architect, configure, and demonstrate solutions that meet DoD mission requirements.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies/certifications is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to balance technical rigor with practical execution.
• First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications.
• An advanced degree in technology is preferred.
• Extensive experience in leading solution configurations and developing demonstrations and proofs-of-concept.
• In-depth understanding of company products, software, services, solution domains, and aaS offerings.
• Superior written and verbal communication abilities, including proficiency in English and necessary local languages.
• Strong business and financial acumen, encompassing sales cycles, pipeline growth, reporting, business strategy, TCO/ROI, and financial models.
• Proficient in consultative/value selling skills, including whiteboarding, objection management, and closing techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of technical tools and CRM systems.
• Strong resource management capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with relevant products, solutions, tools, or services.
• Ability to design and develop demonstration playbooks.
• Capability to deliver live demonstrations and walkthroughs.
• Advanced understanding of project and time management or experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of partner offerings and go-to-market strategies.
• Strong strategic and account planning skills.
