This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Take charge of the internal communications strategy, calendar, and multi-channel distribution framework within the People and COO organizations.
• Create and refine engaging content for internal audiences across the internal wiki and various communication channels.
• Develop consistent messaging regarding company updates, initiatives, and achievements.
• Assist leadership with communications related to change and organizational restructuring.
• Oversee and enhance internal communication channels including email, intranet, Slack, and other digital platforms.
• Formulate and sustain a crisis communications plan.
• Design and implement an employee listening framework that encompasses employee groups and significant moments at least quarterly.
• Set up feedback mechanisms and convert feedback into actionable steps.
• Create, document, pilot, and refine a company-wide recognition framework.
• Integrate recognition into tools and processes such as Slack and Workday.
• Identify and assist in launching culture initiatives rooted in company values.
• Monitor and report on awareness and adoption through tools like the annual company survey.
• Develop a connection framework for events and community programming, including remote/distributed hubs.
• Organize and execute company events aimed at achieving attendance and satisfaction goals.
• Analyze and present data related to surveys, attendance, engagement, and participation to inform decision-making.
• Over 6 years of experience in internal communications and employee experience/engagement.
• Exceptional, clear, and concise writing skills.
• Proven experience in designing employee listening, feedback, or survey programs.
• Background in building or managing employee recognition programs.
• Experience in planning and executing company-wide events or community programming, including for distributed or remote teams.
• Strong ability to analyze and accurately present data, using it to craft narratives.
• Capacity to prioritize effectively and lead independently as a senior individual contributor.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with employees and executives at all levels.
• Proficient in best practices for internal communication channels.
• Understanding of the intersections between communications, recognition, culture, and leadership.
• Experience in driving behavioral change through communications and program design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Technologies: Google Suite, Notion.
• Bonus skills: prior experience in founder-led startup organizations; familiarity with Notion; proficiency with AI tools.
