This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take charge of the internal communications strategy, calendar, and multi-channel distribution framework across the People and COO organizations.
• Create and refine engaging content for internal audiences across the internal wiki and various channels.
• Develop consistent messaging regarding company updates, initiatives, and accomplishments.
• Assist leadership in communicating changes and reorganizations.
• Oversee and enhance internal communication channels, including email, intranet, Slack, and other digital platforms.
• Formulate and maintain a crisis communications plan.
• Design and implement an employee listening framework targeting employee groups and key moments at least quarterly.
• Establish feedback mechanisms and translate insights into actionable steps.
• Construct, document, test, and refine a company-wide recognition framework.
• Integrate recognition into tools and processes such as Slack and Workday.
• Identify and assist in launching culture initiatives based on company values.
• Monitor and report on awareness and adoption through metrics such as the annual company survey.
• Design a connection framework for events and community programming, including remote/distributed hubs.
• Organize and execute company events with set attendance and satisfaction objectives.
• Analyze and present data on surveys, attendance, engagement, and participation to inform decision-making.
• Over 6 years of experience in internal communications and employee experience/engagement.
• Exceptional writing skills that are clear and straightforward.
• Proven experience in designing employee listening, feedback, or survey programs.
• Background in building or managing employee recognition programs.
• Experience in planning and executing company-wide events or community programming, especially for distributed/remote teams.
• Strong capability to analyze and accurately present data to tell a compelling story.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and to lead and execute independently as a senior individual contributor.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with employees and executives at all organizational levels.
• Knowledgeable about best practices for internal communication channels.
• Understanding of the intersections between communications, recognition, culture, and leadership.
• Experience in driving behavioral change through communications and program design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Google Suite.
