This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead the strategy for internal communications, overseeing the calendar and multi-channel distribution framework for the People and COO organizations.
• Create and refine content for internal audiences on the internal wiki and various communication channels.
• Develop messaging regarding company updates, initiatives, and successes.
• Assist leadership with communications related to changes and reorganizations.
• Manage and enhance internal communication channels, including email, intranet, Slack, and other digital platforms.
• Create and uphold a crisis communications plan.
• Design and implement a quarterly employee feedback framework across diverse employee groups and significant moments.
• Establish feedback systems and translate employee insights into actionable steps.
• Construct, document, pilot, and refine a company-wide recognition framework.
• Integrate recognition into tools and processes such as Slack and Workday.
• Identify and assist in launching culture initiatives rooted in company values.
• Monitor and report on the awareness and adoption of culture initiatives.
• Develop a connection framework for events and community programming, including for remote/distributed teams.
• Organize and execute company events with specific attendance and satisfaction objectives.
• Analyze and present data from surveys, attendance, engagement, and participation to inform decision-making.
• Over 6 years of experience in internal communications and employee experience/engagement.
• Exceptional writing skills, characterized by clarity and simplicity.
• Proven experience in designing employee listening, feedback, or survey programs.
• Experience in developing or managing employee recognition initiatives.
• Skilled in planning and executing company-wide events or community programming, particularly for distributed or remote teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data accurately and craft compelling narratives.
• Capable of prioritizing effectively and leading initiatives independently as a senior individual contributor.
• Experience collaborating with employees and executives at all levels.
• Knowledgeable in best practices for internal communication channels.
• Understanding of the interplay between communications, recognition, culture, and leadership.
• Experience in facilitating behavior change through communication strategies and program design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
