This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Take charge of the internal communications strategy, calendar, and multi-channel distribution framework for the People and COO divisions.
• Create and refine engaging, clear content tailored for internal audiences across the internal wiki and various other channels.
• Develop uniform messaging regarding company updates, initiatives, and accomplishments.
• Assist leadership with communications related to change and reorganizations.
• Oversee and enhance email, intranet, Slack, and other digital communication platforms.
• Formulate and uphold a crisis communications plan.
• Design and implement an employee listening framework across various employee groups and significant moments at least quarterly.
• Establish feedback channels and convert employee insights into actionable steps.
• Create, document, pilot, and refine a company-wide recognition framework.
• Incorporate recognition into tools and processes like Slack and Workday.
• Identify and assist in launching culture initiatives that align with company values.
• Monitor and report on culture awareness and adoption metrics.
• Develop connection frameworks for events and community programming, including support for remote/distributed hubs.
• Organize and execute company events aimed at achieving attendance and satisfaction targets.
• Evaluate and present survey results, attendance, engagement, and participation data to inform decision-making.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in internal communications and employee experience/engagement.
• Exceptional writing skills, characterized by clarity and simplicity.
• Proven experience in designing employee listening, feedback, or survey initiatives.
• Background in establishing or managing employee recognition programs.
• Experience in planning and executing company-wide events or community programming, particularly for distributed or remote teams.
• Strong capability to analyze and accurately present data to convey a narrative.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and lead independently as a senior individual contributor.
• Experience collaborating across various levels, working with both employees and executives.
• Knowledge of best practices in internal communication channels.
• Comprehension of the interplay between communications, recognition, culture, and leadership.
• Experience in driving behavioral change through communications and program design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Previous experience in founder-led startup environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with Notion (preferred).
• Proficiency with AI tools (preferred).
• Experience with Google Suite and Notion is required.
