Senior Manager, Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, enhance, and execute business processes with an emphasis on digitalization, automation, customer experience, workflow optimization, and agile organizational frameworks.

• Take the lead on customer projects autonomously from the planning stage to execution.

• Consistently ensure that project timelines, quality benchmarks, and budgetary constraints are adhered to.

• Discover new opportunities and formulate innovative solutions.

• Actively engage in the expansion of the consultancy portfolio.

• Assist in the creation of forward-thinking concepts for clients.

• Foster and maintain enduring relationships with clients and partners.

• Continuously enhance a professional network.

• Take part in internal decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of vocational training as an insurance clerk and/or a degree in a relevant discipline, such as Business Administration, Business Informatics, Insurance / Risk & Insurance, Industrial Engineering, or similar insurance-related studies.

• 3–5 years of experience as a project manager in the insurance industry, preferably within a management consultancy or insurance firm.

• Familiarity with business process management (BPM), digitalization, workflow and input management, Lean Management, or process enhancement.

• Experience with insurance processes and an understanding of how to efficiently design and sustainably implement complex processes.

• Lean Six Sigma or other Operational Excellence and process management certifications are advantageous.

• Independent work style, strong self-organization, and proactive initiative.

• Empathy and the ability to advise clients as an equal partner.

• Creativity and a solution-focused mindset.

• Willingness to work remotely from a home office for up to 100% of the time and travel to client locations.

• Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for project management and presentations.
