Senior Manager, Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyze, enhance, and execute business processes, emphasizing digital transformation, automation, customer experience, workflow optimization, and agile organizational frameworks.

• Independently manage customer projects from the planning phase through to execution.

• Effectively oversee timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.

• Discover new prospects and formulate innovative solutions.

• Actively contribute to shaping the consulting portfolio and assist in business growth efforts.

• Aid in developing progressive concepts for insurance clients.

• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients and partners.

• Participate in internal decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed training as an insurance and finance clerk and/or a degree in a relevant discipline, such as business administration, business informatics, insurance or risk and insurance, industrial engineering, or a similar insurance-related field.

• 3–5 years of experience as a project manager within the insurance industry, preferably in a management consultancy or insurance firm.

• Familiarity with business process management, digitalization, workflow and input management, lean management, or process optimization is preferred.

• Experience with insurance processes and an understanding of designing complex processes efficiently and implementing them sustainably.

• Lean Six Sigma or other Operational Excellence and process management certifications are advantageous.

• Capacity to work independently, manage projects autonomously, and contribute ideas effectively.

• Empathy and the capability to advise clients as a trusted partner while fostering strong relationships.

• Creativity and a solution-focused mindset when addressing complex challenges.

• Willingness to work remotely from a home office for up to 100% of the time and travel to client locations.

• Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for project management and presentations.
