Senior Manager, Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyze, enhance, and execute business processes with an emphasis on digitalization, automation, customer experience, workflow optimization, and agile organizational structures.

• Manage customer projects independently from the planning phase through to implementation.

• Ensure compliance with schedules, quality standards, and budget constraints.

• Discover new opportunities and create innovative solutions.

• Actively participate in the enhancement of the consulting portfolio.

• Assist in developing forward-thinking strategic concepts for clients.

• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners, alongside a professional network.

• Contribute to internal decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an insurance specialist and/or a degree in a relevant field such as business administration, business information systems, insurance studies/risk and insurance, industrial engineering, or a comparable program focused on insurance.

• 3–5 years of experience as a project manager within the insurance sector.

• Ideally, experience in management consulting or within an insurance company.

• Ideally, familiarity with business process management (BPM), digitalization, workflow and input management, Lean Management, or process optimization.

• Experience with insurance processes and an understanding of how to design and efficiently implement complex workflows sustainably.

• Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or other qualifications in operational excellence and process management are advantageous.

• Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating strong self-organization and initiative.

• Empathy and the capacity to provide collaborative, partnership-oriented client advice.

• Creativity and a solution-focused mindset.

• Willingness to travel to client locations.

• Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for project management and presentations.
