This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead, mentor, and enhance the capabilities of a team of Cloud System Administrators.
• Prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and ensure the timely execution of both operational and project-related activities.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance assessments, and career development planning sessions.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture among team members distributed across various locations.
• Supervise the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cloud system projects, migrations, deployments, vulnerability management, and enhancements.
• Coordinate cross-functional project efforts to align with organizational objectives and minimize interruptions.
• Manage compliance-focused programs such as Clara, ATO, and GTA, ensuring accurate and timely submissions through effective input gathering.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, workflows, and financial reporting.
• Assist in shared-services roadmap development and long-term strategic planning initiatives.
• Oversee daily cloud operations, troubleshooting, and service continuity in collaboration with the Cloud Systems Lead.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, cloud security standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Act as a liaison among stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership, escalating issues when necessary.
• Propel cloud initiatives that enhance system performance, security, and overall business value.
• Guarantee an outstanding customer and stakeholder experience while facilitating essential cloud-based functionalities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or a related discipline with 10 years of experience; OR 14 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience in managing technical teams and projects within dynamic, production-oriented environments.
• Previous leadership experience in enterprise cloud, infrastructure, or systems operations settings.
• Proficient in utilizing ticketing, change management, or service management systems, such as ServiceNow.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Capability to analyze complex issues, facilitate resolutions, and communicate status effectively.
• Experience working collaboratively with remote teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to convert business requirements into effective technological or operational solutions.
• U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Willingness to support 24x7 operational settings, including occasional work outside standard hours.
