This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy, roadmap, and capability maturity plan.
• Establish the direction for identity security architecture and set implementation standards for workforce identities, privileged accounts, service accounts, application access, and cloud identity integrations.
• Create reusable IAM patterns, reference designs, control standards, and implementation methodologies.
• Implement automated and policy-driven identity controls for processes related to joiners, movers, leavers, access requests, access reviews, and privileged access.
• Conduct identity risk assessments, access governance evaluations, and facilitate discussions on risk at the senior level.
• Develop identity security assurance strategies to detect excessive access, orphaned accounts, privilege misuse, weak authentication, and gaps in lifecycle control.
• Guide the utilization and advancement of IAM, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), directory services, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), federation, and identity analytics capabilities.
• Oversee IAM programs from the requirements stage through design, implementation, maturation, operational transition, and ongoing service enhancement.
• Evaluate enterprise IAM capability deficiencies and champion implementation roadmaps alongside Cybersecurity, IT, Cloud, Infrastructure, HR, and application stakeholders.
• Promote the adoption of automated, repeatable, and policy-driven IAM practices.
• Provide guidance to technology teams and Cybersecurity leadership on identity security priorities, risk trade-offs, service enhancements, platform investments, and operational model decisions.
• Mentor, coach, and develop IAM professionals; establish knowledge transfer protocols, succession planning, and sustainable coverage.
• Create cybersecurity countermeasures, identity risk mitigation strategies, and implementation guidance.
• Maintain effective communication with senior stakeholders and foster cross-team relationships.
• Advocate for configuration and change management practices for IAM capabilities.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of identity security controls and drive quantifiable improvements.
• Ensure that technical documentation, operating procedures, access standards, and knowledge-transfer materials facilitate sustainable operations and succession planning.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; a specialization in Management Information Systems (MIS), IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
• A combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
• At least 8 years of experience in IAM, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, or Application Security is required.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft identity, IGA, PAM, or other identity platform certifications are preferred.
• Understanding of identity and access management concepts, architectures, operating models, and governance practices.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and privacy principles.
• Knowledge of enterprise identity security risk management.
• Expertise in authentication, authorization, federation, SSO, MFA, and access control methodologies.
• Proficiency in IAM, IGA, PAM, directory services, identity lifecycle management, and secure architecture principles.
• Awareness of identity security requirements across cloud platforms, applications, infrastructure, privileged technology resources, and third-party access.
• Knowledge of automation, workflow, API integration, and policy-driven provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Familiarity with identity analytics, access certification, entitlement management, privileged session controls, and service-account governance.
• Ability to evaluate identity security controls, control maturity, and residual risk.
• Skill in articulating complex identity, access, operational, and risk concepts.
• Proficient in creating strategic roadmaps, decision-making materials, technical standards, operating procedures, and documentation.
• Expertise in automation, scripting, API integration, workflow, and policy-based access control.
• Ability to analyze access, entitlement, account, configuration, interoperability, and control testing results.
• Proficient in evaluating, selecting, implementing, and maturing IAM, IGA, PAM, MFA, SSO, federation, directory, and identity analytics capabilities.
• Skilled in identifying identity security vulnerabilities, prioritizing remediation efforts, and driving risk reduction.
• Capability to translate technical and business requirements into scalable IAM operating models, services, controls, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to influence teams across Infrastructure, Cloud, HR, application development, Cybersecurity, vendors, and business units.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor technical talent, manage priorities, and apply cybersecurity principles related to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation requirements.
