This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.
β’ Assist in the implementation of Workday at ICU Medical through documentation of requirements, testing, data validation, reporting, and support following the go-live phase.
β’ Collaborate with HR experts to gather global Core HCM requirements, validate system functionalities, and ensure proper security measures are in place.
β’ Work alongside senior leaders to define the operating model post-go-live.
β’ Act as a hands-on authority in Workday Core HCM, Talent, Compensation, and Integrations modules.
β’ Oversee the complete design and configuration of Workday following the go-live stage.
β’ Establish and uphold standards for configuration, naming conventions, and design principles.
β’ Forecast downstream effects related to integrations, reporting, and data integrity.
β’ Ensure Workday design choices align with the overall HR technology framework and future integration plans.
β’ Provide counsel to HR, Centers of Excellence, IT, Finance, and business leaders.
β’ Convert unclear business requirements into solution alternatives, highlighting trade-offs.
β’ Manage demand intake, prioritization, and decision-making frameworks.
β’ Implement Workday Help to support Tier 1-2 inquiries for HR Operations and the wider HR organization.
β’ Promote global standardization while accommodating regional and business-specific variations.
β’ Maintain documentation, readiness for audits, and adherence to change control protocols.
β’ Lead intricate Workday projects from the design stage through to deployment.
β’ Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within HR processes.
β’ Develop or guide the creation of advanced reports and dashboards.
β’ Ensure data integrity, consistency, and usability.
β’ Stay updated on technical progressions and engage in professional development and industry associations.
β’ Must be at least 18 years old.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 15 years of experience in HRIS/HR technology, or a masterβs degree with at least 12 years of experience.
β’ 5-10 years of substantial hands-on experience with Workday configuration.
β’ Workday certifications in HCM, Compensation, Talent, and/or Integrations are highly desirable.
β’ Experience with Workday integrations, including Studio, EIB, or APIs.
β’ Knowledge of reporting tools, SQL, or advanced analytics concepts.
β’ Experience establishing or evolving an HRIS governance model focused on Workday.
β’ Experience facilitating a centralized Tier 1-2 support model using Workday Help.
β’ Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel, and HRIS systems.
β’ Demonstrated success in project management.
β’ Experience in designing complex, cross-module Workday solutions.
β’ Strong knowledge of integrations, security, business processes, and data structures.
β’ Proven ability to function effectively in global environments.
β’ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including negotiation and influencing abilities.
β’ Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
β’ Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and documentation proficiency.
β’ Ability to identify and address analytical needs in ambiguous situations.
β’ High attention to detail and a proactive approach to escalating issues.
β’ Collaborative attitude and dedication to team success.
β’ Remote work arrangement.
