Senior Manager, Government Pricing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as Baxter’s primary expert on government pricing regulations, methodologies, and policy interpretation.

• Manage the complete process of AMP, BP, ASP, 340B, and Non-FAMP submissions, ensuring precision, compliance, and prompt delivery.

• Provide guidance to Commercial, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Market Access on the downstream effects of pricing strategies, contract models, and legislative changes.

• Supervise outsourced calculation partners, data inputs, and system outputs, including governance of Model N and other managed service providers.

• Collaborate with Finance and Revenue Accounting to oversee reserves, track long-standing accruals, and ensure alignment regarding financial exposure.

• Direct reconciliation, validation, and audit-readiness processes across government pricing programs and state transparency obligations.

• Assist in coordinating the Medicaid rebate process, manage vendor performance, and cash recovery efforts while nurturing relationships with CMS, HRSA, VA, DoD, and state agencies.

• Propel process standardization, unbundling initiatives, system modernization, and special projects that shape Baxter’s government pricing function.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Government Price Reporting is preferred; strong candidates with 6+ years and proven expertise will also be considered.

• Extensive knowledge of U.S. government pricing programs, including Medicaid (AMP/BP), Medicare Part B (ASP), 340B, Non-FAMP, VA/FSS, and state transparency reporting.

• Demonstrated capability to interpret intricate regulations, guide policy decisions, and convert methodology into business risks and opportunities.

• Experience collaborating with senior leaders across Commercial, Finance, Legal, IT, and Marketing departments.

• Strong analytical and modeling abilities, including scenario analysis related to price adjustments, legislative changes, and IRA exposure.

• Proven track record in establishing sustainable controls, audit frameworks, and scalable processes in highly regulated settings.

• Leadership experience in managing teams, cultivating talent, and supervising vendors or managed service providers.

• Proficiency in systems, ideally with Model N or similar pricing and contracting platforms.

• Comfortable navigating complex data environments.
