Senior Manager, GovCon Technology – Deltek Costpoint Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take charge of all phases of projects and collaborate directly with clients to achieve project goals.

• Exhibit extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for a project/program management office that supports technical project managers.

• Utilize both technical and functional expertise to assess and implement packaged software solutions.

• Create and execute methodologies and solutions tailored specifically for the government contracting sector.

• Aid in discovering new business prospects through the development of methodologies and tools, proposal opportunities, market analysis, and internal initiatives.

• Provide outstanding client service during all client interactions and project engagements.

• Communicate effectively both internally and externally, including with executive-level stakeholders.

• Oversee daily project operations, establish proper project team leverage, and assign/manage responsibilities.

• Offer coaching, mentoring, and performance guidance to consultants, clients, and project team members.

• Contribute to the overall management of the Consulting Practice.

• Create and implement a personal plan for professional and practice advancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Management, or a related field.

• At least eight (8) years of relevant experience in providing financial and management consulting services.

• Experience in consulting with commercial clients or a mix of commercial and federal clients.

• Background in Deltek/Costpoint implementation projects supporting commercial clients or a combination of commercial/federal clients.

• Proven management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capability to lead and supervise others effectively.

• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

• Dedication to continuous professional development.

• Strong ethical knowledge and commitment.

• A sense of urgency and a dedication to quality and timely project completion.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements.

• CPA, PMP, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
