Senior Manager, Global Solution Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple large-scale solution design projects concurrently across various regions and sectors.

• Serve as the primary solution design lead during customer interactions throughout the bidding and proposal phases.

• Evaluate customer needs, operational data, and RFP documentation thoroughly.

• Create strong and competitive contract logistics solutions.

• Design comprehensive warehousing and supply chain solutions.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration among operations, finance, engineering, automation, IT, and commercial teams.

• Develop and present customer presentations and solution proposals.

• Ensure project completion within established timelines and quality benchmarks.

• Assist in implementation planning, solution handover activities, and change management processes.

• Contribute to DSV's global methodologies, standards, and tools for solution design.

• Share best practices, market insights, and innovative ideas with the Global Solution Design community.

• Tailor complex contract logistics solutions for global clients and support strategic growth across various markets, industries, and products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in contract logistics solution design, warehouse engineering, or supply chain consulting.

• Background in third-party logistics (3PL), supply chain consulting, or extensive logistics operations.

• Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, network design, operational modeling, pricing strategies, and financial analysis.

• Demonstrated capability to lead complex, multi-country, and cross-functional projects.

• Strong commercial acumen.

• Experience in developing customer pricing models.

• Knowledge of warehouse automation and logistics technology solutions is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in English.

• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VISIO, and AutoCAD are mandatory.

• Familiarity with MS Access, simulation software, and/or network modeling software is advantageous.

• Experience with simulation or network modeling tools is considered a plus.
